Lecture on artistic-aesthetical research aspects of Hermann Scherchen's rotating loudspeaker in the context of the IKO/OSIL Symposium & Summer School organized by the Institute for Music and Acoustics of the Kunstuniversität Graz.
The 2-day symposium offers the opportunity to learn about our artistic, psycho-acoustic, and audio-technical experiences and findings.
The 3-day summer school that preceds the symposium allows registered visitors to work and experiment with the 3 IEM Icosahedral Loudspeakers (IKO). Its working spaces are Ligeti Hall, Studio Stage Room, Orchestra Rehearsal Room, and the dressrooms at MUMUTH. There are the IKO1, IKO2, IKO3, and the new loudspeaker cubes to work and play with.
